Volunteers Wanted!
We are looking for volunteers for the 2009 My Success Event being held October 7th and 8th at the Civic Arena in St. Joseph. This event is an opportunity for high school sophomores to interactively experience different occupations available in our area. This experience helps them see the opportunities and make plans to get the education they need to become employed in these fields in the future. They can also visit different schools to see what they need to do in order to take classes there, evaluate the cost, and how long they need to attend to get the training they need. Volunteers are needed from 8:00am to 1:30pm each day to help direct youth, help with lunch for the youth, help businesses in their areas, and other things as needed. Lunch will not be served; however, light snacks will be available.
