Resources for Parents: Middle School
Show-Me Scholars
Show-Me
Scholars is a community based high-impact strategy to motivate
students to complete a more rigorous set of high school courses to
better prepare them for college or the workplace. Show Me Scholars
brings local business leaders into 8th grade classrooms, where they
work with students in planning their future. The St. Joseph School
District and the Chamber are targeting an implementation date for
the spring of 2009. Area universities are providing scholarships for
participation.
